Laura Villasenin, the creative force behind Miista, was raised in Galicia, Northern Spain. Drawn to the art of shoemaking, she ventured to London's East to refine her skills. In 2010, she introduced Miista, an expression of her desire to explore shapes and materials while maintaining a commitment to quality, comfort, and affordability. Miista seamlessly blends Laura's rural Spanish roots with a contemporary female perspective, channeling cinematic, surreal, and nostalgic influences into timeless designs crafted from Italian leathers and unconventional materials.
